Modern Woodman Park
(formerly John O'Donnell Stadium)

I was fortunate enough to have had a final chance to see the old JOD in 2002, the next to last season in the final incarnation of it's classic form, my first such visit to the grand old palace in at least 17 years. She was the first minor league park I ever saw, attending my first Quad City Angels game there with my Dad in 1973. I would attend many more over the next dozen years or so, mostly the Angels, but a few during the area's brief affiliation with the Chicago Cubs. 

What follows are my photos; the first seven (including the above shot of that classic exterior) are then and now shots. The old taken in the summer of `02 during that aforementioned visit; the new shots, taken on July 1, 2004, when I had the chance to check out the renovation job.
